SEARS HOLDINGS UPDATE: We have previously reported that Sears Holdings was closing more stores. Now, the company has identified a little over 500 stores that could POTENTIALLY be spun off into a new company.
The list, submitted as part of filings in the current company’s Chapter 11 Bankruptcy, are locations that are currently for sale and may still be subject to closure or space reduction in the future. It is key to remember that the company is in bankruptcy proceedings and that matters are very fluid at this time.
